About

Over many years I have visited some wonderful places around the world, with all these experiences, I am confident that the Cotswolds will give as much enjoyment and interest as anywhere in the world. It is my pleasure to guide visitors through the most impressive places in this area. Here are some examples of what can be visited.

Cotswold country walks:
If you are staying in any of the many Cotswold towns and would like a guided tour around your immediate, vicinity, plus a walk in the countryside, and perhaps a visit to a pub for lunch; then do get in contact and I will meet you at a convenient location and create a wonderful day for you.

Tours around castles, palaces or country houses:
Within the Cotswolds we have Blenheim Palace, and many other attractive country houses, castles (including Warwick Castle) and gardens, all packed with history, culture and entertaining stories, many of which have been locations for well known films. I am happy to arrange memorable and enjoyable day trips around these wonderful places.

Historic towns walls:
Gloucester, Worcester, Hereford, Shrewsbury, Tewksbury and Cheltenham, each with fascinating stories and unique historic buildings. I can organise a guided walk around any of these towns, which can include visits to historic churches, buildings and museums and more.

Oxford:
As a resident of Oxford for 35 years, I enjoy taking visitors round this wonderful city, which has more to see than almost any other city of equivalent size. If you wish to have your own personal guide to take you around, just get in contact and this can be very quickly organised to suite your timetable. I can even advise where the locals eat, so you can avoid the normal tourist hot spots.

I would be delighted to help you or your guests (small or large groups) to enjoy some of these extraordinary places through guided city or historic building walks, country walks, and /or coach tours. Each can be created flexibly to meet the requirements of your itinerary.
